Unit 5: Portfolio Activity 1

Take time to make a list of all tasks required from the point of receiving the first call through to the day of the funeral.

What information is required for each of the tasks? Which roles are involved in each task? What requirements do you need to be aware of and what things do you need to do and arrange? List internal and external responsibilities

NAFD GUIDANCE:  The student should approach this activity in a logical order. They need to consider the sensitivity of information received, the resource and management to carry out the removal, the equipment and it’s use, any third-party involvement- who, purpose, co-ordination of all activities. Who is responsible for which tasks? How would the student consider the client and their communication to them? Are there any contingencies which need to be put in place?
