Mortuary Management (Operations)-Quality and Compliance Training has been designed to embed the UK Funeral Director Code into daily routines working with quality managed processes.

 REGISTRATION APPLIES TO :Funeral Directors, Funeral Operatives

All attendees must be employed by either an NAFD or SAIF member funeral directing business

Method of training

This training consists of series of presentations, discussions, and activities concluding with online assessment providing a final demonstration of proof of learning.

The training is delivered by an experienced NHS pathologist trainer and an experienced NAFD funeral training professional.

Content

The content of the training consists of the following topics:-

Embedding the requirements of Funeral Director Code into daily routines

Evidencing mortuary practice, confidentiality and traceability

Prevention and Management of Infection Control

Participating in / Conducting audit and mortuary related risk assessments

Use of  Root Cause Analysis

Mortuary Practice – QMS Continuous Improvement.

Duration

Online 6 hours.

Assessment

Assessment takes place throughout the training – final assessment takes place as proof of learning.

Certification

A Certificate of Training will be issued following completion of the workshop.

Delegates will receive a NAFD Certificate of Training worth 6 CPD points on successful completion of this one day training workshop.
