Welcome to the NAFD Funeral Arranging and Administration (FAA) Certificate. To register for this course, you firstly need to sign up to the Education website as a student user. Once this is complete, please click on the ‘Take this course’ button below.

The FAA Certificate course fee is £995 / NAFD Members £795 and this includes access to all learning materials and resources, Manual of Funeral Directing, final course certification and access to online help. Final examination fees are charged separately at the point of exam registration.

When purchasing this NAFD course, if you are employed by an NAFD member firm you will be eligible for the reduced course registration rate. On completing the registration page and proceeding to the checkout, if you do not see the reduced rate as an NAFD member, you will need to login to your profile via the Learning Zone and update your details with your correct NAFD membership number. Once you have inputted your NAFD membership number you need to click on Save Changes in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. You then need to sign out of your account and sign back in again for the update to complete.

Online registration must be completed, and all fees must be paid online in full prior to starting the course and access to the learner material and Manual of Funeral Directing. Student registration is granted for 2 years.

In order to register for the FAA Certificate, you must have a minimum of 9 months experience as a funeral arranger / administrator. Before you are eligible to register for final examination you must have completed all of the learning materials, online assessments and provide proof that you have gained a minimum of 18 months experience as a funeral arranger, completing a minimum of 36 funeral arrangements in this time.
